Like so many, I was shocked and saddened by the tragic deaths of Kobe and Gigi Bryant and the others who lost their lives from that horrible helicopter crash. As a way to process, mourn and remember, I decided to create an art piece honoring them. I really didn’t have any plans for the art once it was done but Salette suggested that we auction it off and donate the money to the victims’ families which is what we did.
